SINGAPORE AFFORDABLE ART FAIR 2014

In these series of paintings, I am combining childhood memories and feelings together with iconic images of local village houses. Ever since my first visit to South East Asia, I have always been fascinated with these village houses. They remind me of childhood times in my own life, building cubby houses, private getaways, places that we could make our own and graffiti our place as we liked. These were fun times with a sense of timelessness, adventure our only calling. Life was simple.
